From a Small Shared Apartment in Spain to a Global Poker Platform

In 2008, three passionate poker players from Spain founded a small shared apartment in a village in the province of Castilla y León. Their goal was simple: to improve their poker skills and pursue a professional career. Their first steps were on PokerStars.es. It quickly became clear that this path was only the beginning – their vision extended far beyond recreational play.

 

Two years later, the team moved to Andorra and later to Malta, focusing exclusively on cash games. The shared apartment grew steadily: from the original three founders to over eight residents, all training together daily, educating each other, and steadily increasing their limits.

 

In 2020, the journey continued to Mexico, where the team further refined its strategy and expanded its expertise. In 2024, iStakeNetwork.com was founded – a platform aimed at developing talented young players from around the world into professional poker players, without placing undue pressure on them.

 

Today, over 500 players are registered with iStakeNetwork.com, actively competing both online and live. Since 2025, we have also been collaborating with partners across Europe and Latin America. Regional managers oversee their areas, build structures, and support new talent. Our goal: sustainable growth through the targeted development of tomorrow’s poker professionals.

  • Integration into Live Poker: Players start their careers online and transition into live events, where fields are often less competitive and more rewarding.

  • Cash Game Focus: Due to its predictability and stability, cash games are prioritized, while tournaments will take a secondary role.

  • Coaching & Development: In 2024, over 1,500 coaching hours were provided, an average of 9,500 USD was invested per player, and over 100 monthly fees for poker schools were covered.

With 95% of support directed at online players, complemented by strategic entry into live poker, iStakeNetwork.com was officially launched in July 2025 to support live players in the long term.
